She curled into him, nestling into his arms with a small sigh of contentment. "My day was pretty busy. All the spring days are. There's just so much to do."

Nell smiled up at him, "But I put in a good hard day's work and now I'm all yours."

She hesitated, then added. "And all ears, if you're of a mind to talk. Not if you don't." She understood all too well the not being ready, or interested, in talking bit her ownself.
